The concept of bringing traditional and high fashion designer menswear from the world’s metropolises and selling them under one roof proved popular among local men. Fifteen years later, the Aarhus store on the corner of Sct. Clemens Stræde and Maren Smeds Gyde, was joined by another Axel store, this one located in the centre of Copenhagen, on the corner of Gammel Mønt.
